You will be graded on the same scale that we use in class. S = Secure, D = Developing, and B = Beginning. A printable rubric is located at the bottom of this page. You will be graded on the following categories:

Participation

S = I worked cooperatively with my partner. Each of us contributed and spent our time on task. D = I mostly worked cooperatively with my partner. Each of us contributed somewhat equally and we spent most of our time on task. B = I did not work cooperatively with my partner. Little of my time was spent on task.

Quality of Work

S = My work is neatly done. D = My work is mostly neat. B = My work is sloppy.

Butterfly Stages

S = I can name all four stages of the butterfly’s life cycle. D = I can name some of the stages of the butterfly’s life cycle. B = I cannot name any of the stages of the butterfly’s life cycle.

Kidspiration Diagram

S = I correctly completed the diagram. I remembered to include clipart and labeled all of my pictures correctly. D = I completed the diagram, however, I did not include pictures or there are some details that are incorrect or missing. B = I did not complete the diagram or it has many details that are missing or are not accurate.

Painted Lady Butterfly Information Booklet

S = I correctly completed the entire booklet. D = I completed the booklet, however, there are some details that are missing or are incorrect. B = I did not complete the booklet.

Oral Presentation

S = The information that I presented is accurate and correct. D = The information that I presented is mostly accurate and correct. B = The information that I presented is not accurate and correct.

Problem Solving Suggestions

S = I made two or more reasonable and accurate suggestions as to what Mrs. Lampert needs to buy at the store, as well as at least one suggestion about what I can bring from home. D = I made at least one reasonable and accurate suggestion as to what Mrs. Lampert should buy at the store. B = I did not make any reasonable or accurate suggestions as to what Mrs. Lampert should buy at the store.

Overall

S = My work was completed on time with no mistakes. D = My work was completed on time with only a few mistakes. B = My work was not completed on time and has many mistakes.
