Students will work in groups to research and learn about the water cycle. By the end of the activity, students will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the water cycle, identify the stages of the water cycle and categorize the four different types of clouds.

We have learned the all things move in a cycle. Today you will investigate how to identify and define the four main stages of the water cycle. You will also investigate how to categorize the clouds in the sky.

Your task will be to investigate the stages of the water cycle and to categorize the different types of clouds.

Step 1: Research the four main stages of the water cycle using the link below. Identify the name of each stage and write a brief description of what is happening

Step 2: Now that you know the stages of the water cycle you need to ivestigate how to categorize the clouds. Use the following website to help you determine how many different types of clouds there are and the name for each.

Step 3: Your group will now take the information you have found to make a picture of the water cycle and the types of cloud you identified.
